Pizza City Fest Returns This Weekend with Local Pizzerias on Display
Pizza lovers from Inglewood and surrounding communities have a delicious opportunity this weekend as Pizza City Fest returns to LA Live, showcasing the diverse and innovative pizza scene of Los Angeles.
The festival, curated by 13-time James Beard Award-winning food journalist Steve Dolinsky, will feature over a dozen local pizzerias offering unique slices, including Mexican-inspired pizzas, Neapolitan-style creations, and inventive local specialties.
“This is a great chance for our community to explore the incredible culinary creativity happening right here in Los Angeles,” said Michael Torres, a local food enthusiast from Inglewood. “The variety of pizza styles is truly impressive.”
Tickets are priced at $125 for Saturday and $115 for Sunday, which include all-you-can-eat pizza, sides, desserts, and an open bar. Notable offerings include MexiForno’s Tijuana-style Al Pastor pizza and Hot Tongue’s acclaimed plain slice.
The Inglewood Public Library will be hosting a pizza-making workshop on May 10th for those inspired by the festival to try their hand at creating their own unique pizzas.
