THE PASSING OF TWO 1960'S ERA CIVIL RIGHTS ICONS (L) JOHN LEWIS (R) C.T. VIVIAN
These two giants in the Civil Rights movement devoted their entire lives to the equal rights of Black Americans and the Voting Rights for All Americans. Both walked together across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in 1965 and suffered the blows of Sheriff Jim Clark on “Bloody Sunday,” they both died on July 17, 2020. All Americans of color owe their right to vote in part to the life work and sacrifices of these two great Americans.
