Veterans & Youth Career Collaborative – Long Beach. – Part-time, Temporary. 15/hr.
Available for various shifts Monday – Friday. Make outbound phone calls. Follow up contact after initial outreach call is made. Receiving inbound phone calls, route to the proper department. Schedule appointments using the calendar system. Administrative duties, making copies, filing, organization. Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures. Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner. Create and update records ensuring the accuracy and validity of information. Schedule and plan meetings and appointments. Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages / restock as needed or directed. Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues. Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies. Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues. Perform receptionist duties when needed. Ability to perform a high volume of outbound phone calls on a day-to-day basis. Ability to document and follow up with clients. Multitasking (juggle various tasks simultaneously & efficiently). Data Entry, Scanning/Faxing, communication via e-mail. Must be a proficient and effective PC user. Clear, understandable speech.  Punctuality; Consistent attendance; Experience as an office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role. Working knowledge of office equipment. Thorough understanding of office management procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office.
