Geocaching ‘Spring Fling’ Block Party Invites Inglewood Adventurers to Elysian Park
Outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers from Inglewood and surrounding communities are invited to explore the exciting world of geocaching at the upcoming Spring Fling Block Party in Elysian Park on Saturday, May 3rd.
The event, celebrating 25 years of the global hide-and-seek adventure game, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bishop Canyon Picnic Area. While registration has closed, the event is open to the public and welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels.
“Geocaching is a fantastic way to explore our local landscapes and connect with community members,” said Michael Torres, an Inglewood-based outdoor recreation enthusiast. “It’s like a real-world treasure hunt that gets people outdoors and discovering hidden gems.”
Local families can learn about different types of geocaches, including traditional, multi-stage, and puzzle caches. The Inglewood Public Library will be hosting a free geocaching workshop on April 30th to help beginners get started before the event.
