Rams’ 4-2 Start Signals Return to Championship Form for Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium Team
The Los Angeles Rams have started the 2025 season with a 4-2 record, marking their best opening since the 2021 campaign when they captured Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium, giving Inglewood fans reason to believe the team is back in championship contention.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford is currently leading the NFL with 1,503 passing yards through six games. In a recent 17-3 road victory over the Baltimore Ravens on October 12, Stafford guided the team to a pair of touchdowns to begin the third quarter.
Second-year wide receiver Puka Nacua is rewriting NFL record books. The young star leads the league in receptions (52), yards (588), and first downs (31), becoming the first player in NFL history to record over 50 catches through the first five games.
At his current pace, Nacua would finish with 177 receptions and 1,999 yards, which would shatter both single-season records.
The Rams’ October featured both highs and lows. On October 2, they fell to the San Francisco 49ers 26-23 in overtime at SoFi Stadium. Despite Stafford’s 389-yard, three-touchdown performance, the 49ers prevailed.
The team responded ten days later with a commanding 17-3 defensive victory over Baltimore. Inside linebacker Nate Landman set a new team single-game record with 17 tackles.
Inglewood fans will have opportunities to watch the Rams at SoFi Stadium on November 2 (New Orleans Saints), November 16 (Seattle Seahawks), and November 23 (Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football).
