Residents of an Inglewood Neighbor were forced to evacuation from their homes overnight on Monday after a suspicious package was found under a car near a school in Inglewood.
Authorities arrived at the scene after a local resident called and reported wires dangling underneath a parked vehicle. A bomb sniffing dog called to the scene alerted officials to a package under the car.
A bomb squad arrived early Monday morning at around 4:30am and successfully detonated the device.
Officials say that the device was a hoax, noting that the device was made to look like a real bomb, but contained no live explosives.
