Vaccine Enters New Phase

With one thousand new cases the world searches for a vaccine for the corona virus. The vaccine is in its third phase with 30,000 volunteers. The vaccine is using RNA and it is injected directly into the muscle cell. Then the RNA goes into the cytoplasm of the cell which is translated into ribosomes to make proteins. There have already been 25 potential corona virus vaccines in clinical trials worldwide. The minor side effects of the vaccine have been found to be fatigue, chills, headache, muscle pain, and pain at the injection site. At the beginning of the outbreak, many said children were at lower risk but that has now been uncovered to be false. In the United States, 22% of the population is made up of children under the age of 18.
