District 2 Resident
The State of California has issued a "shelter in place" order for all residents to limit the spread of coronavirus.
The order allows residents to leave their homes for essential services, such as grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, picking up medications or going to work. If you must leave your residence, the order instructs you to practice social distancing, keeping at least 6 feet away from others. The order urges the elderly and people with illnesses to stay home as much as possible. I have included important information and resources that I hope will assist you during this crisis. Please share with your neighbors. Neighbors helping Neighbors! If you live alone, ask others to check in with you regularly and/or share the name and number of the person you'd like them to call if you are suddenly ill. If you're tech-savvy, offer your assistance to people who aren't. Knowing how to order groceries online, figuring out the pharmacy's automated phone system can be difficult. Offer to do certain task for others online. If your concerned about a neighbor's well-being, contact the Inglewood Police Department (310-412-8771) for a Welfare Check. The only way we're going to get through this is working together.
