Inglewood Resident Wins $31,083 in SuperLotto Plus Drawing at Local Liquor Store
An Inglewood liquor store has sold a winning SuperLotto Plus lottery ticket worth $31,083, according to California Lottery officials.
The ticket, which matched five numbers but not the Mega number in Wednesday evening’s drawing, was purchased at Ken’s Liquor Store located in the 8400 block of 8th Avenue in Inglewood.
While no tickets were sold with all six winning numbers, pushing Saturday’s jackpot to an estimated $17 million, the Inglewood winner’s significant prize represents one of the larger lottery payouts in the community this year.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night were 7, 21, 26, 37, 44, with a Mega number of 13.
Ken’s Liquor Store joins the growing list of Inglewood businesses that have sold winning lottery tickets over the years. Retailers that sell winning tickets typically receive a bonus from the California Lottery, creating an additional economic benefit for local small businesses.
The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their tickets in ink, keep tickets in a safe place, and contact lottery officials or visit a district office to begin the claim process.
Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. The California Lottery’s Los Angeles District Office is located at 3925 West Century Boulevard, just a short distance from the winning retailer.
