Magic and comedy legends Penn & Teller bring their 50th Anniversary Tour to YouTube Theater on Saturday, October 18 at 8:00 p.m., marking a milestone celebration of five decades performing together.

Penn Jillette and Teller first performed together on August 19, 1975, at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, beginning as street performers. Fifty years later, they stand as the longest-running headliners to play at the same hotel in Las Vegas history, having maintained their residency at The Rio since 2001.

In 2024, Penn & Teller were named Masters Fellowship recipients, the highest honor the Academy of Magical Arts bestows. After 50 years of performing together, they were also finally inducted into the prestigious Magic Circle in 2025.

Penn & Teller’s performances are renowned for their signature tricks. Their adaptation of the bullet catch illusion—considered one of magic’s most dangerous tricks—involves the duo simultaneously firing guns at each other through panes of glass, then “catching” the bullets in their teeth.

Beyond live performances, they’ve achieved television success with their Emmy Award-winning PBS special “Penn & Teller Go Public” and their Showtime series “Penn & Teller: Bullshit!” which earned 13 Emmy nominations. Their current show “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” is now in its 11th season.

On April 5, 2013, they received the 2,494th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, positioned steps away from Harry Houdini’s.

Tickets remain available through Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
