R&B Legends Keith Sweat, Dru Hill, and Case Reunite for Make You Sweat Concert Friday at YouTube Theater
New jack swing pioneer Keith Sweat returns to Inglewood’s YouTube Theater on Friday, October 3 at 8:00 p.m., bringing classic 1990s R&B to life alongside hitmakers Dru Hill and Case.
Keith Sweat’s storied career led to the creation of new jack swing, blending hip-hop beats with smooth R&B vocals. His classic hits including “I Want Her,” “Twisted,” “Make It Last Forever,” and “I’ll Give All My Love to You” continue to resonate with audiences decades after their release.
Founded in Baltimore in 1992, Dru Hill became one of the most successful R&B groups of the late 1990s with over 40 million records sold worldwide. The quartet topped charts with number-one R&B hits including “In My Bed,” “Never Make a Promise,” and “How Deep Is Your Love.”
Singer-songwriter Case built his reputation through memorable movie soundtrack appearances. His 1996 self-titled debut yielded the Top 5 R&B hit “Touch Me, Tease Me” featuring Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown. He continued success with “Happily Ever After” and earned two Grammy nominations.
Tickets for “Make You Sweat” remain available through Ticketmaster, with prices starting at $48.60. YouTube Theater offers state-of-the-art acoustics and intimate seating for 6,000 fans.
