During the service, various attendees gave eulogies, including a fiery eulogy given by John McCain’s daughter, Meghan McCain. In her Eulogy, she contrasts her Father to that of Trump, saying, “We gather here to mourn the passing of American greatness, the real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who live lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served.” Through the tears, she provided a beautiful speech highlighting the fact that not only was he Senator John McCain, but he was also John McCain, a Father.
