7-Eleven Ribbon Cutting Event with Councilman George Dotson and Community Leaders

7-Eleven opened its newest location Friday at the intersection of Prairie Ave. and Arbor Vitae St. This new building replaces an older store located nearby that 7-Eleven occupied for more than 20 years.

As part of the celebrations, 7-Eleven invited City Officials, Community Leaders and Leaders from the Inglewood Airport Area Chamber of Commerce for a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to officiate the grand opening of the new store. Former Chargers Cornerback Antoine Cason was at the event doing photo ops and handing out autographs. Also at the event were various vendors including Gatorade, Bang Energy and Redbull. Councilman Dotson was on hand to lead the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Local school Kelso Elementary was also invited out to the event and given a seven hundred and eleven dollar award, provided by 7-Eleven for the the betterment of their school. Kelso Elementary Principal Irene Green was on hand to receive the award, who thanked 7-Eleven for their generosity. She further stated that the award would be used to improve playground equipment for students at their school.

7-Eleven handed out goodie bags out to the public including water bottles, masks, keychains and more. Additionally, they held a Raffle giving out gifts to those who entered the Raffle.
