Today Governor Brown signed SB 100 into Law, setting the State of California as a example for the rest of the country on clean energy.

SB 100, written by Senator Kevin De Leon, speeds up the timeline for clean energy production targets in the state of California. It requires that 60 percent of electricity in the state come from clean energy sources (Solar, Wind, Hydro, and Nuclear) by 2030. More importantly, it sets a requirement that we completely transition to 100 percent clean energy by 2045.

These targets are the most aggressive in the nation, and set a standard for all other states to match or exceed.
